IPA_logo_180px.jpgThe IPA Board of Directors is comprised of 15 members which represent six geographical newspaper districts within the state.  The Board is evenly distributed between daily and weekly newspapers by maintaining a balance of seven members representing daily newspapers and eight members representing weekly newspapers.

The IPA Executive Director is an ex-officio, nonvoting member of the Board.  The Board also selects an ex-officio board member that is an active professor at one of the Illinois university journalism schools.  This Director shall be a nonvoting Director elected for a two year term which may be renewed indefinitely at the Board's discretion.
