Christian County's only daily newspaper, a 120-year old, award-winning, independently-owned publication is seeking an entry level reporter. This full-time position includes coverage of municipal government; some entertainment, business and political writing; spot and breaking news; feature and human interest pieces. Must be willing to work a couple hours 1-2 evenings per week and every other Saturday and be motivated and always on the lookout for news stories. The ideal candidate must have strong writing skills, be able to meet strict deadlines, and work well with the public. Journalism degree preferred with experience and a background that shows excellent skills in reporting and editing. Must be proficient with job-related software programs.
