Former Whig copy editors and designers have gone on to work at the Gatehouse design center in Austin, Texas; The Times of Northwest Indiana in Munster, Ind.; and the Chicago Tribune. Qualifications include strong design and editing skills, a solid knowledge of the AP Stylebook, experience with story and photo planning, and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
