Editor Needed.

The Cass County Star-Gazette is seeking our next great editor.

We seek a person who has skills to write and edit a weekly newspaper is egger to cover community news from main street to area towns.

You must be curious and enjoy asking questions and have writing skills.

Strong language and Grammar skills are a must. Ability to take photos is part of the position

Skills you must have:

• Editing written articles, including obits and news releases
• Will work with freelancers and correspondents and assigned events for them to cover
• Must be knowledge In Design is very helpful
• Creativity is a plus as you will design our pages front and inside.
• Strong commitment to the profession of news and community.
• Can meet news deadlines

This is a perfect position for someone who has reporting background experience , or has journalist background or  education and wants to learn the craft at a small weekly paper
