Graphic Production Designer Immediate Opening

The Cass County Star-Gazette in Beardstown Illinois is seeking a creative person for its weekly newspaper.

The successful candidate must be able to design ads, has creative skills and can set up pages understand how to tone photos

• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
• Person should be well organized, work well within a team environment, have excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work and meet deadlines is a must
• Is familiar with building digital ads is a plus

Education or experience in Graphics programs would be required.

This is a Monday through Thursday position up to 28 hours per week and is located in our newspaper office in Beardstown, IL.
