Immediate opening in the newsroom for an energetic, outgoing, personable and community-oriented individual to join our award-winning reporting team.

The successful candidate will have journalism/writing experience and above average grammar/verbal skills. Ability to tell a complete story, writing quickly on deadline is essential. Prefer degree in journalism or at least 3 years experience in a newsroom.

Safe driving record, reliable transportation and ability to work in all kinds of Midwest weather conditions.

Expected work shifts: full-time, some weeknight evenings and weekends
