Engagement Specialist - The Rockford Register Star is seeking an engagement specialist to help grow our digital audience through smart, strategic use of social media. You’ll be involved in distribution, creation of social-first content and development of our social strategy for breaking news and enterprise projects. You’ll also collaborate with more traditional journalists to identify and reach audiences for our work and execute opportunities to bring readers into the reporting process.  We are the dominant news source in the region with a combined digital and print reach larger than that of all of our media competitors combined.
