Skilled full-time news reporter sought for busy daily newspaper operation.

Kankakee Valley Publishing, an award-winning newspaper operation, currently seeks a motivated general assignment reporter. We have immediate openings at daily newspaper locations in eastern Illinois, western and central Indiana. Qualified candidates will bring skills in newsgathering, pagination, photography and social media. Our journalists are out in the field and covering a wide array of community activities and events. Night and weekend work is expected.
